The brief

Everybody should have the opportunity to realise their ambitions and potential in learning, work and life.

Learning and Work Institute is an independent policy and research organisation dedicated to promoting lifelong learning, full employment and inclusion.

Learning and Work Institute has been developing and piloting the ‘Get Set for Success’ programme with prisons for the last two years. They asked us to design and produce the ‘Get Set for Success’ curriculum materials to be rolled out to offender learners.

Our approach

We made sure the resources were accessible and easy for both the learner and the tutor to digest. Our designs were bold and purposeful, encouraging the learner to engage and interact with the content.

Bright colours were used to aid navigation and guide the reader through the learner experience. Iconography was added to highlight key information and provide visual impact.

Results

  • Positive feedback received from the tutors
  • Get Set for Success programme is now being delivered in seven locations
