Our prestigious black tie ball for Nottingham High School
Our approach
We pulled out all the stops to ensure guests had a fantastic experience that would bring back their positive memories of the school. We sourced and selected a range of suppliers to provide entertainment, security and audio-visual support. We overcame the logistical challenge of building the event over 6 days while school continued as usual.
We put together a spectacular entertainment programme including:
- Champagne reception, live school band and red carpet entrance.
- Dining marquee with 121 tables, speeches, three-course dinner and bar.
- Live opera performance.
- Singing waiters and waitresses.
- A wide range of activities and attractions such as a fairground with carousel, jazz club with full band, real ale garden, casino and cabaret including aerialists, coffee bar and a cocktail lounge.
Results
- A finalist for the ‘Best Educational Event’ at the UK Event Awards.
- All 1,250 tickets sold out within days, and the event was fully attended with guests from across the world.
- Coverage on local television, and in local newspapers and lifestyle magazines.
- We achieved all this for the agreed budget and to a tight schedule.
