We’ve just launched a new project for Nottingham University Hospitals.
Their Scarred Liver team asked us to help promote their work by designing and developing a website alongside a series of videos.
The Scarred Liver is an initiative committed to detecting liver disease quickly and easily.
As an account manager, it was fascinating to find out more about how their work is changing lives. Liver disease is now the third leading cause of premature death in the UK, and the only one of the top five that’s increasing. The early detection method, developed by the Scarred Liver team, means lives will be saved.
Our job was to get this message out to three groups of users – patients, clinicians and commissioners. This meant really understanding what they wanted from a website and the journey we needed to take them on.
It was also inspiring to work with a series of patients to tell their stories through video. Video is such a powerful way to tell a story and can be much more effective than a written case study. You can see one of the examples below.
The Scarred Liver project has just been launched during Liver Disease Awareness Week. It’s really exciting to see how this project develops and the impact it will have across the country.
